We are proud to partner with conferences within the United Church of Christ to raise charitable contributions in support of programs and initiatives within the respective conference.
We offer two programs:
- Charitable Share Certificates
- Round-up Debit Card Program
Charitable Share Certificates
Become a GUFCU member and be eligible to purchase a share certificate of either a 5-month or 10-month term certificate. Once you determine the certificate term, you choose how you want to split the dividend proceeds at maturation, either:
- 50% charity / 50% member
- 75% charity / 25% member
The last step in the purchase process is to select the conference/charity that you would like to support.
Our share certificates have 2 annual percentage yields (APY):

Round-up Debit Card Program
Participating members must open an account at GUFCU.
Participating members must select the charitable organization at time of enrollment in the program (drop down menu provided).
Money accrued in member account is swept monthly to Conference/Charitable account at GUFCU.
Participating members can end participation in the program at any time.
